My second Market Visit
This was our route for Market Visit today.
Glutton's Bay @ Esplanade (dinner) -> Harry's Bar @ Esplanade -> Lash @ One Fullerton (previously was Embargo) -> Eski Bar @ Circular Rd -> Altivo @ Mt Faber -> Wala Wala @ Holland V -> Gillman Village
Everyone was at Glutton's Bay at Esplanade for dinner that day. I went home to shower, change and eat before I go to Esplanade to meet them. Stayed at the Outdoor Theatre, to enjoy the music there. It took me quite some time to realise that the singer was Shen2 Wei3 Jun4, a local TCS artiste. I ever heard that he had his own concert in one of the theatre of Esplanade before. He sang pretty well I think. I left the performance halfway, as my colleagues shouted for my name, when they walked from the Glutton's Bay to Harry's Bar. I joined them from Harry's Bar onwards.
Lash @ One Fullerton was booked for an event, and we only left with the seats outside. There, you will be able to find the Heineken in a metal bottle, designed by a Japanese. Quite a cool bottle I think. The Americans didn't like the metal bottle design, as the bottle was smaller than the glass bottles. They felt that the company was lying about the contents. Little did they notice that, the glass bottles were bigger cos the glass walls were thicker than the metal wall. *lolx* It was pretty warm, so we didn't stay for too long before we left. For the draft Heineken beer, I felt that Lash had better draft beer than Harry's. Not sure why, but Harry's had a little of the rubbery taste. But I thought it was the bottled beer that can have chances of getting light-struck. *shrugs* Well... I'm not trained to be a beer-taster.
Then we went to Eski Bar. There, we met up with Niu-ge and also Guozhen. This place wasn't included in our itinery in the first place. As there were quite a few complaints of light-struck beer, so we all went to take a look. It was quite a cool place, really icy cold. And water was dripping all over the place. It was a pretty cool place to chill out.
Next was Altivo. I loved the feeling up there. Though the scenery wasn't as superb as those you see on the hills of other countries, it was pretty breathtaking for me. Love that place.
My itinery ended at Wala Wala, Holland V, as I met Chee Keong there. My regrets to stay. I didn't remember that the next stop was a place I wanted to go. Gillman Village. I heard raves over it in the morning when talking to Patsy, Alvin and Ho Fatt. Damn! As I can't remember where they are going, I ended up staying in Wala Wala, and got drunk. It felt so disgusting to be drunk with beer. Totally bloated and gassy in the stomach. *yucks*
Total damage for the night: A slight hangover, 1 big bruise and swell below my knee, I lost my earpiece for my hp, lost my lipstick, and lost my clinque eyeshadow. *extremely sad*
