Free N Easy...
Lazy Cat missed her lab today again. So I accompanied her to Medical Centre to get her MC, and of course, lunch after that. (What's new? It seemed like my entry about my pet Cat was food, food and more food... A universal language between the two of us... And it was the only thing that brought us together so close. Haha..)
Recently, we were craving for prata, ever since FOC's Fright Night. Well.. the Cat had fulfilled her craving the night before, cos someone brought her to Clementi prata or somewhere, instead of the initiated Fong Seng at NUS. The change of venue was because the silly Cat had missed the expressway exit, yet was too hungry to re-route back to NUS.
After taking MC, we went to Canteen B, I bought 3 curry puffs from Muslim stall and Cat bought carrot cake and some other thing. The curry puffs were YUMMILICIOUS!! Perfect for snacking cos the fillings wasn't that much. You might think that "Huh? So little fillings? Nice meh?" The thing was.. it only cost $1 for 3, it was actually fun chewing the skin.. Haha... Anyway, I liked it. Go and taste it if you are looking for snacks in the South Spine. Then, as we were happily eating our snacks, we made our way to Popular, cos I wanted to check out my Mathematics textbook. The Mathematics textbook cost $40, and it was near about 4 - 5 cm THICK!! Decided not to buy, cos our plan was to walk out to eat prata. haha.. The book would be too heavy. After Popular, we passed Canteen B again. I was tempted by the fried hashbrown from Vegetarian Stall. So bought one. Wah.. Regretted buying the hashbrown, cos I felt like I was chewing a thick crust of "skin" and only a thin slice of potato. The "skin" was overly fried potato. Yucks! I guess it only tasted great when it was freshly fried out of the wok. *frown*
We walked through Yunnan Garden, all the way to Extension. At the coffeeshop near the 7-eleven, we stopped over for drinks. I had iced milk tea. My Cat? Sprite Ice loh.. haha.. She was addicted to Sprite Ice recently. The prata shop there hadn't opened. They were preparing to open. They only had egg prata ready, which I think it was leftover from the day before. So ended up, I didn't fulfill my prata craving.
Next location, Pioneer Mall for desserts. Cat had a plate of vegetarian dish before her normal 2 servings of desserts. I had my share of chendol. Weird enough, it was something I never try before I was 18, and it was something that I will always order when I wanted desserts.
After desserts, we went up to Giant supermarket. There, we recalled the stupid thing we did at the up-riding slope escalator, the other time when we were there with joo, quanrong and daniel b last semester. The 2-storey Giant only had up-riding slope escalator, and didn't had down-riding ones. In other words, if you got up to the 2nd floor of Giant, there was no way for you to come down. What happened that time was, we didn't know it was one-way thingy. So when we were on the 2nd floor, Joo wanted to get some stuff that was from the 1st floor. This led to our stupid act. Yes. stupid act of 5 of us. haha. We ran down the up-riding escalator, laughing, and embarassed. Once we hit the 1st floor, we quickly ran to one of the columns and hid ourselves from embarassment.
This time, it was me and Cat. We assured each other that we confirm, plus guarantee, plus chop, that we didn't want any more things from the 1st level, before we finally made our way up to the second floor. We hanged around the beverage department for quite some time, cos Cat couldn't decide what drinks to buy. Getting a carton of Sprite Ice? She was really afraid she would suffer an overdosage of Sprite Ice, so she ended up with a bottle (or was it two?) of Sprite Ice. To everyone, for your drinks to survive, please get in bottles, cos this Cat can really finish all the canned drinks very fast.
At Giant, we bought quite a fare share of grocery. It seemed long since we ever did our favourite grocery shopping. Lazy us, took a cab back in the end.
