Broke... but HAPPY!!

It's been a week of holidays. I hadn't been doing much except housekeeping and getting myself more broke.

Spent $100 over on clothes and shoes in town, and got myself a brown ribbon to revive the pair of heels, which the fastener snapped last Friday. Till today, I still didn't see the sight of the snapped portion. Anyway, I felt that was clever of me to revive that favourite pair of heels of mine. (Joo also thought so too! lolx) I thought spending $100 over was quite wah... until I heard from Hongsheng that he bought work wear, and spend $300 over. I felt better after hearing that. Less guilty. Though you might argue that to spend $300 over on work wear was reasonable.. I don't care! lolx. That night I finally changed my bedsheet, which was there since mid-July. HEEZ!

Morning I was cleaning up my fridge, which I set to defrost mode the day before. Guess what? My room got abit flooded when I woke up. Realising my room was pretty bare, in terms of food, when Joo asked me to go Canteen 14, there wasn't hesitation at all. We managed to rush to the minimart just before it closed. The auntie was already pushing one of the big shelves of snacks into the shop. Got myself a raisin loaf, a big packet of Milo, Pringles, and Chachos. Weird things I bought. They weren't stuff that I normally would buy. I was really just trying to fill my room with something. Had a fan choy after that, and was suffering from indigestion in the night time. Oh well.. Anyway, my cross stitch was around 60-70% completed!!

It was my laundry day, and my Animal Farm's Suntanning Day! All my stuffed toys, cushions, pillow, and bolster were lined along the laundry areas along the corridor. I used up a total of 4 people's laundry area!! It felt great with no people around, and the laundry areas are mine to use!!

Late afternoon, Joo went basketball at SRC. I was too lazy to tag along, after the whole day's of suntanning and laundry work. Evening time, Joselyn dropped by and asked if I wanted to have dinner together. I thought it was weird. The next thing I asked was.. "Chunky not around, right?" You should know the answer.. Hehe.. So we went to Canteen 14 for Jap food. Met Jeffery, Paul, Xueni, Leicester and Amanda there. Had a great time chit-chatting over dinner!

Not long after I came back from Canteen 14, Joo returned from her basketball. We ended up in JP, cos she was craving for some alcohol, like Breezer. Weird right? Ok.. not weird.. probably something unusual.. We bought the egg tarts (5 for $4), she bought yogurt, I bought my usual AllsWell's Water Chestnut Sugarcane drink, and more cheese for the kitchen. Lastly, we got each of us a bottle of breezer. Hers - Peach, Mine - Cranberry, ($5 each). Chilled out in my room that night. Joo's face was really so easily red after a few mouths of the breezer. lolx. And after a while, she was abit high, and crapped more than she usually did.. Oh man.. She usually already quite crappy at times.. lolx..

Funny Joselyn popped by and asked if we wanted to eat ice cream the next day. We were like.. Huh? How come out of the blue, that question? Then we realised it was her first IA pay day!! Hooray!! Couldn't get a good meal from her cos she needed to get her powerpoint for her laptop.. Else she and Chunky had to share the same pc.

It was a relaxing night..

I finally touched my notes! But I only packed them nicely on my shelf. Had to relocate those old files to somewhere else before I had the space for the current ones. Then I realised the notes I borrowed from Leicester was not the module that I wanted to copy. What a joke! Cos it was the second time, I borrowed the set of notes, and I only realised it now. This showed that I didn't touched the notes at all, until now. KUKU!!

It seemed so weird recently, cos normally if no one asked me out to eat a meal, no one would start asking. And when one person started to ask me out to eat, the next offer would come almost immediately after. Yesterday I was already bloated with Jap food, then I still eat the egg tart and whatever junk food after that, with Joo..

Today, when hungry Eric MSNed me for lunch at 4+pm, cos I was someone who he knew that would have super irregular mealtimes I guess.. Next moment Pei Yao said that they would be having BBQ outside canteen later, when I was preparing to go to Canteen 13, helping Joo to keep her laundry.. Oh well.. My stomach was "hungrified" by Eric, so I ended up having fried rice at Canteen 13. Can't imagine that it was the first time I'm eating fried rice from Canteen 13 right? I realised I seldom eat at school canteen, cos I seldom eat meals. Finally dropped by Hall Office to declare my fridge cos someone kept me waiting at canteen. Duh. Anyway, I didn't mind waiting, cos waiting would be paid off by a free meal!! lolx.

Joined the BBQ at around 7.30pm, after letting Joo napped for an hour. I was still pretty full though, but according to the Yummy Kitchen spirit.. "Eating is not a matter of full or not. Eating is a form of socialising and a gesture of food appreciation (aka don't waste food!)." So.. Had 3 or 4 chicken wings. At the BBQ, we had a chicken wing eating machine.. Can never understand such a small person can contain so many chicken wings. She probably had some compressor in her stomach, specially to compress chicken wings. lolx.

I wondered what had "kuku-fied" me.. I went to the shower room.. First, I elbowed the shower cubicle's door. Next after I on the shower, then I realised that I already ran out of the shower foam, and even threw the old one earlier today. I had to get dressed up again and run out to grab my shower foam!! KUKU!! Oh man...

Just received news that my san-jie (3rd sis) of my SR council would be sending me a red bomb soon. It would be on one of the October's Wednesday I heard. Happy for her... But needed to save up on red packets then.. Next Thursday, Patsy's..

I really need bomb shelter!! lolx.

Woke up by the aunties, knocking on my door. They were here to paste the "DECLARED" sticker. Luckily I woke up, before they attempted to open my door. lolx. Shh.. I was sleeping in the buff.. lolx.. Will you believe me? I wondered what their reaction would be.. Next time should also latched my door then.. *winkz*

Just came back from MacDonald's breakfast with Joo. Went to photo-copy one tutorial, and buy notes from the library. Then we went to 8-flags, cos Joo wanted to get her ink cartridge. When we came back, I received a pink slip under my door, telling me that I had a registered mail! And yeah! My necklace arrived! All thanks to Belinda. It was the first time I bought things from her. Take a look at it... It's named ALIA!! Isn't it pretty?!


Ok.. Time to copy my notes from Leicester... Be back for more blogs over the weekend at home!! Tata!!
