Philips Warehouse Sales!

PRIOR TO THE SALES...
Early morning 8.30am, I was being pried out of bed for the madness Philips Warehouse Sales at Toa Payoh. 9.15am, we reached the place. The queue was so long, till the bus-stop outside. After my brother parked the rented van at the carpark next to Philips, we walked down the queue. Guess what? My brother's friend shouted for him. Less than a second, we were all part of the queue. It seemed like we had an easy time cutting queue. lolx. Didn't understand why was there a queue, cos according to my brother, past years, they would open up the big main gate. I was thinking probably past years, he didn't came as early.

ABOUT THE SALES...
The sales started at 9.30am. It was less than a while before we entered the sales area. My brother, his wife, and my mum straight away zoomed in to the TV section. Our main aim today was to get a new TV, cos our old Philips MatchLine was spoilt in a funny way. It automatically stretched images sideways, making it looked like wide screen or something. We ended up spending around an hour plus doing our "marketing" and shopping. I zoomed to the hair accessories area, to take a look at the hair styling tool. Guess I was abit bored by my hair, wanted to get something for my hair.

OUR LOOT OF THE DAY
1. A 29' TV - $699 (I think it's digital TV, heavy lei!)
2. A DVD Recorder - $399
3. A Geometricks, 10-in-1 Multi-styler - $46 (aka my hairstyling tool)
4. A steam iron - $30

STRENGTH DEPLETING DAY...
Moving the heavy TV up the van and back home from the carpark, was tiring enough on such a hot morning. Back to home, after resting a while, we had to use the remaining strength to move the old TV to another place, and move the heavy new TV. Clumsy me kept on bumping my swollen knee against the stupid BIG TV box. Tired. Shag. Tired. Shag. My mum was really very happy today. And me too! I guess the Geometrix was my reward for the day. *jumpz* Guess I'll be trying it out soon! TIRING BUT HAPPY DAY!!
