Cindy-jie's Birthday Party @ Caribbean!! Nice place!!
It was a busy day for me. Running here and there.. Worst of all.. Stupid Spotlight didn't stock up their boxes ever since last Thursday, Patsy's wedding. Stupid right? I ended up coming back home to make a box for it.. Think it was like... erm.. falling apart or something.. haha.. oops.. Ok.. My first attempt to make a box ok?! The next one shall be improved..!!
Caribbean... It's really a nice place to live in......... Full glass windows, beautiful view, the amenities look great too... Though it was pretty unsafe for kids, cos other than the "grille-less" window, the sea that flow in is up to 7-storey deep! Serious.. no joke about... There are areas... that you can sit and chill out with a few friends.. We saw a few foreigners sitting around, drinking red wine... Woah.. That's the way to enjoy life man... How I wish I could.. Haiz.. Wait long long also probably no.. If some rich guys going to go after me, I will first be scared, then stressed... I probably not the cut for rich tai tai...
Oh.. I forgot to mention about the lifts and the security concepts! Each lift serve only 1 unit. That is, Unit 16, this lift will serve from #01-16 to #08-16. And when the lift door opens, Ta-da! You'll already reached the house, without going through the main gates/door. Next, the security system at the lift... You had to press the unit number on this wall, and the owner at the house will look at you through this mini laptop provided.. Not only the owner can see you, the two of you can even talk to each other. Only thing is that you can't see the owner. Next, the owner have to approve your entry to the house, then you may enter the lift, and the only button you can press will be the floor you wanted to go. I thought it was pretty cool... Don't you think so?
Ok.. after waiting for a few days.. Here's finally photos of the photo frame I've made for Cindy-jie... Yes.. It had safely delivered into her hands... Though in the awkward Sense Sales plastic bag.. But.. well.. That was my biggest bag I could find in my house... Pathetic..
These are the 2 initial designs.... I was hesitating with the first one cos I felt the S.H.E. were quite cramped up!! The second was my inspired piece after a good night's sleep.. Tsk tsk.. Indecisive about which to choose.. Luckily Feng was online to help me, despite she said she was busy at work...

Oh... Did I forget to mention? Received a sms from Cindy-jie, and she liked the gift! It's going to be placed on her desk in her new office!! She said her bf's mother also said it was nice!! *jumpz*
Another guy I showed the photo to online, said something like.. It was sweet and can see the effort.. Yes.. I'm someone who loved to do arts and craft... Yes.. and he asked me why I didn't take up design. Reason 1 - From young, I thought everyone go through the same phase, Primary school > Secondary school > JC > University > Graduate and work > Get married > Kids > Grow old > and then useless... > Faded off... I didn't know the existence of other stuffs.
Reason 2 - I needed to do something that is... "can earn a living"... Practical? Due to pressure.. Probably no one in the family had given me the pressure... But it was probably due to the way I was brought up... That I can't learn piano lessons cos we can't afford to... I wasn't allowed to learn ballet... I wasn't allowed to learn anything that require some $$ to be invested. The only thing I learned and was supported was Arts lesson from the CC. Even after my PSLE, learning ceramic at a RC a bus stop away from my house, I had violent rejections.. I NEVER FELT SUPPORTED in whatever I AM INTERESTED! I was envious of those that can follow their dreams... I am someone whose dreams had vanished, just like those foam bubbles that float and burst in the air after some time. Dreams and reality? Never seemed to be able to become one for me...
Oh well.. It's a happy day... Better don't think of other stupid things..
Dearest bloggie... nitez nitez... Sleep early.. I shall sleep early too and wake up to start my next "project" tomorrow!
