This is how I spend my birthday... Prelude

Everything about my birthday, started a day or two before my actual day.


There were 2 people who "dated" me.
Joselyn wanted to date me on the actual date.
Cat gave me a choice of Friday dinner..
or Sat after 9pm.. after she knock off...


Things got terrible this whole week
cos of the terrible jam-packed exams...
4 papers in a week..
I nearly had a nervous breakdown in mid-week.


Ok.. Away are the rantings..
Nightmares of those papers blown away
right after my Friday's Maths paper.
People asked me..
"So, how were the papers?"
My answer...
"I had totally no idea what happened last week!"


Right after Friday's dreadful afternoon paper..
Dreadful cos Friday papers always end an hour later than usual..
5+pm. I got back to my room.
I was supposed to meet Cat in town for dinner.
Well.. I was abit lethargic to get out of my room..
Lazing around..
6.30pm!
And I'm still in NTU!!


Lucky Joo wanted to leave school for home..
And lazy her, suggested to take cab.. was it her or me?
Oh well.. We decided to take cab!
Sitting at the Hall 13 bus stop..
We saw 2 buses go by... DUH!
Then, Joo asked..
"What if the 3rd bus come by?"
My reply..
"I'll just hop onto it and get out of NTU to find cab."
So.. The 3rd bus came..
Yes.. we got up...
Blah blah blah..
Fast forward abit..
Feeling abit longwinded here.. (-.-*)


In the cab, in orchard road...
The lightings this year were SOOO beautiful!!
I'm in LOVE with ORCHARD ROAD this season!!
Luckily I had given Joo $12 for the cab fee..
The place was really quite jammed..
And she probably needed to stop some km before her house,
Due to lack of funds.. tsk tsk..


I dropped off at Heeren bus stop..
Met Cat..
It was just a simple night..
Both of us dining at NYDC...


1 kuku thing that happened was my order..
I order the meatball spaghetti (called something manhatten)
They served Three Amigos pasta instead.
Sorry to say..
Once you serve delicious food to HUNGRY SUSAN..
She will just start eating..
Lesson learned here..
Please be clear of what and who you are serving!

Then it's alot more of catching up and gossiping...
Till this greedy Cat start to eye on other's desserts..
Next, we asked for the menu again...
She ordered something called Grandma Gose?
And I ordered the last item on the menu.
It was some Cheesecake with Wildberry or something..
I quite liked the thing.
Though it looked abit National-Day-ish...
The ice cream tasted great..
The reddish syrup or something was sweet to my liking..
The whipped cream by the side, had some colored rice on it..
Do you call that colored rice?!
Oh well.. It looked like pretty fireworks!!


Dinner ended around 10+..
We were there for around 2 hours or so..
Did our usual routine..
Strolled back to Dhoby Ghaut MRT to catch NEL..
I wonder when will we be doing this again...
Cat's quitting school..
Decision is final..
Miss the times..
Yet, hoping that she will find her directions in life..
Guess good times had to end..


Oh.. check out the lightings outside Istana...
Doesn't mean to say anything...
But the purple lighting at the tree trunk..
Simply spoil the whole lightings over there..
And it's quite eerie...
Don't you think so..
Cat and I had the same sentiments...


I headed home..
Reached home before 12 midnight..
