Wonderful Weekend! - Part 3

Basketball @ Cheryl's place

Fragrance of home-made curry puffs
Floated around the house.
Feels so great waking up..
And surrounded by such fragrance!

Totally unprepared for the workout.
I wore what I wore the night before..
and my VNC slippers for Basketball.
Great workout..

For a moment..
I think I'm addicted to basketball..
Anyway, people who played basketball were..
Me, Cheryl, Sophia and bf, and Cheryl's friends

After basketball,
Cheryl and I had a nice chit chat..
While the guys went for a swim.
Liked going to Cheryl's place
Cos there seems to have all the facilities.

We met up after our individual activities..
And set off for West Mall for lunch..
Most of us were full after the Chng Teng and Curry Puffs though.

Supposedly, I should meet Wenting at 3pm, Bugis..
I thought I would be late though..
Luckily until 2.45pm...
Wenting's SMS came..
Yeah! She'll be late too!
We will be meeting at 3.30pm instead.

Lucky thing number two..
Hancheng, Cheryl's friend, happened to stay at Waterloo St..
And he drives!
Haha!
Managed to hitch a ride from him successfully!
And Yeah! I was punctual at 3.30pm!

Objectives of the day
Wenting to get her Nikon Coolpix S3
And both of us, to get our sports shoes!


Nikon Coolpix S3!

At Sim Lim, Wenting bought her S3!
It was from the shop, Alan Photos on Level 1.
The shop that my bro2 had claimed to be..
"The only shop that you can buy from Sim Lim for cameras"
And well..
Indeed, they offered the best deal
among the few shops we surveyed.


Adidas & Asics Sports Shoes!

Went around Queensway Shopping Centre..
We spotted some nice shoes in the few shops we went to..
But they all overshot our budget.
We actually wanted to give up on the idea of getting shoes there..

Until we came to this shop "Salom and Sons".
The shopkeeper there was so jovial, comical,
had a great sense of humour.
His motto "Everything must relax.. Don't worry"
Relax already, then foot will fit in the shoe nicely..

At first Wenting and I wanted to get the same Adidas shoe..
The problem was we wanted to get the same size too!
They went to check if there's stocks..
Then they continue to say.. "Relax... Take a seat.."

Outcome of the search..
The Adidas pair was the last pair.
So one of us must change our decision.

There was this Asics shoes that caught my eye.
Think it was damn pretty!
Originally cost $189.
After reduction by the kind shopkeeper,
It only cost me $138!

And of course!
I took the Asics shoes..
Love it to bits...

Surprise Surprise!

Wenting and I always thought that Ling would sure love my Asics.
So when Ling came back to hall...
I shouted to get her over to my room..
And when she saw the box I was holding..

She was like...
"OMG! Don't tell me it's the same!"
And the box opened...

And Ling screamed!
She had also bought the same pair of shoes that afternoon
At Queensway shopping centre too!
This is so freaky..

Call me cheap thrill or what..
I got to announce that my shoes cost $3 cheaper than hers!
