New Year Countdown..

Rainy Rainy Day...

Parkway parade
Ppl stunned at the blue car.
They were expecting blue alike to the cab colors..
It was icy blue lah!

Wenting, Yanying and Liying were sent to East Coast Park first.
Then the car came back to pick the rest of us, Ling, Joo and me from Parkway again.
Drove to Esplanade and drop Ling and Joo.
Car left with Mr Confetti, Jude and me.

Mr Confetti drove Jude home.
Then I followed Mr Confetti home, cos he needed to wash some wound on his leg..
Wound cos he cut his leg in a rush earlier in the day..
Must be some clumsy and stupid act of his again...

After applying medication, Mr Confetti finally got to a hawker nearby to grab a bite.
After his dinner, we finally decided to pick the girls at East Coast up..
And bring them to Esplanade instead..
Cos we heard that the sales there was difficult and poor.

Okay.. the jam at the Esplanade stretch was damn crazy..
Traffic was practically crawling...
Crowd in town was mad..
We had been jammed behind this traffic light for so many times...
After 1st red light.. We thought that next red light we could do something...
2nd red light.. The girls alighted and got the goods off..
3rd red light.. Mr Confetti got a box from the boot behind and pass to me..
So that I could pass to Joo and Ling when we see them.
4th red light.. Mr Confetti went to the boot again to get the remaining goods to the backseats.
Clumsy Mr Confetti nearly forgot to close his boot..
All thanks to me, cos I'm around to remind!

Next, we actually wished to find a spot to park along ECP to watch the fireworks..
Don't ask me what happened..
We just didn't find a good spot to park..
Then, we gave up and drove to a nearby 7-eleven to grab some beer instead.
Yeap! We missed the fireworks..
The only involvement was the lighted sky and the thunderous sounds of the fireworks.

Made some new year resolutions..
This was the first time that I really made new year resolutions..
Was never in my tradition that I do so..
Well.. There's always a first time I guess..
And I needed some prompting/hinting to come up with some resolutions..

Had quite a comfortable talk with Mr Confetti after the countdown..
All the craps and talks..
When mentioned about the dark side..
Sorry I couldn't share the dark side of mine..
Cos I, myself, couldn't accept myself for the dark side..
So I guess, I wasn't ready to disclose them, when I couldn't overcome them myself..
I guess it's one of the thing I had to overcome to achieve one of those resolutions of mine..
*sighz*

That night, Joo and Ling only managed to fetch a cab at around 3+?
Sad to say I was already home sleeping by then, I guess..
Could have offered them a ride home if we had known the terrible conditions..
*feeling guilty*
