Something to share...
Came across these two questions..
Found them interesting..
So I wanted to share with all..
Abstracted from Claire's blog...
What's the difference between guilt and shame?
(click the question to link to her blog)
Claire's boss strolled into the room and announced, "who can tell me the difference between guilt and shame?
She silently thought, "sounds the same to me, don't test my england..."
The enlightened answer was -
Shame is how the world looks at you but Guilt is how you look at yourself.
Abstracted from Xiao Feng's friend, Adrian's blog
What's the definition of love?
(click the question to link to his blog)
This was what he wrote...
"I once read a book written by a psychiatrist.
He asked his patients the definition of love.
And not many were able to define it in words clearly enough.
Then, one definition which he came up with struck a chord in me.
It was what I was doing all along.
He said...
"We love someone when we raise the importance of her/his needs and desires to the same level of importance as our own... and in some cases, even exceeded our own"
I just felt it was very apt for me. Guess that was what I believed in all the while. "
