Week 2 Hols - Part ONE

Another week had passed...

It's been a busy week..
My mood now? Not really fantastic..
Though I felt that I had a great week..
Maybe that I hadn't had enough rest, I was just too tired..
Or maybe.. I don't know..


First and foremost..
Here's a short summary of the places I've been too..
And notice how many times I've been to Orchard road last week..
And how much I had avoided it this week..

I attempted to sleep early.
Probably around 1?
But there was this sense of guilt, that I felt...
I just feel so sorry for some thing..
That I couldn't sleep at all!!

And guess what?
I spent the next few hours writing a letter in mandarin...
And this letter..
Now I think of it..
It seemed be stupid if I am to give it to the person I addressed to..
By the way, the recipient of the letter is a HER..
It probably be another letter that won't be sent out at all..
If she is gonna read it, she's probably feel that I'm a silly little girl..
Or maybe she will feel nothing at all..
Oh no.. Why am I so concerned of her reaction?! It's so weird..
Well.. It's probably something I wouldn't wish to know?!?!

So what? The letter will be kept somewhere...
Cos if it's not handed to her by this week..
Some words will expire after this week..

I slept at around 3+ 4 the night before..
To perfect my handwriting or at least no writing errors in my letter..
Cos I couldn't find liquid paper last night..

I woke up at 7.30am today.
Left house at 8.30am.
Bro 2 was still sleeping like a log...
I reached school in the morning..
Wrong. I reached hall in the morning..
I was super lethargic due to lack of sleep..
I slept through the whole journey.


Meeting with my FYP sup...

I was supposed to meet up with my FYP sup..
I was totally worried and filled with fear..
I really dreaded academic work..
But I know I must get out of it..
And the only way to get out of it is to work for it..
*face turning green*

Met Justin for lunch..
I travelled all the way out to the extension kopitiam..
For the nice nice chicken rice there...
He said that I was too stressed up...
Yes.. And I felt that I was simple escaping from reality..
Coward!

After the lunch.. I felt a little better..
Probably I just needed someone to calm my fear..
I plucked up my courage and walked towards Dr Yeo's office..
I thought that he would not be around..
I could never find him in his office in the past..
Who knows? His door was half opened this time round!
I took a deep breathe.. and finally knocked the door..
(Think I'm getting abit draggy on the story telling part, cutting short..)

There wasn't much scoldings, but more like warnings...
Cautioned me that things were not heading the right directions..
Cutting more short...
I sincerely apologised and I will be back on Wednesday morning...


Prior to dinner date with Cat

Cat was bored at work..
I suggested a dinner date then..
She gave me a choice "Town or Chomp Chomp?!"
Of course I chose Chomp Chomp!

If you had seen my summary..
I will be crazy if I want to go town again..
The thing is.. I didn't really shop in town..
But I'm always in town for a certain place and a reason..
I feel that I'm behaving more like a guy..

On my way back home from hall..
Met my stupid bro2 on the NEL..
He caught my attention cos he was trying to be funny..
Peeping me behind from a small tiny pole..
He's always so irritating, isn't him?!
I walked over and we had a small chat till we reached Hougang..

That night, I had a little bite at home.. Actually not too little..
Meeting time with Cat : 9.30pm.
I left my house at 9pm after watching SuperBand on Channel U..
It was quite weird thing about the timing..
Right before their performance, Lonewolf called..
And after he hanged up.. Guo4 Huo3, one of the songs he liked was played..
I really liked Milo Peng's performance that day..
I liked the way the remix Jeff Chang's Guo4 Huo3...
A good mix of the soft, gentle and romantic part and the rock version of it..
Very well mixed, and they deserve to be the team with the highest point that day!


Dinner Date with Cat

Oh.. Meeting Cat.. Yes..
Am I so naggy in the past?! Kept on digressing...
I was about to take out my hp and sms-ed that I would be late.
There came Cat's sms, pushing the meeting time to be 9.45pm instead.
Ok! Initially I thought of taking 165 to AMK to change 136..
Since I was granted more time, I took a 5-10 minutes walk to the bus stop at Blk 25.
And waited for 136 over there.
The timing was not bad..
I reached first, with Cat only 3 bus stops behind.

What we had there?!
- Fried Oyster (for me only)
- Carrot Cake (both black and white *extra large*)
- Chwee Kuey (6 pieces)
- Sugar Cane Juice (one large glass for each of us!!)

Guess hanging out with Cat is the only chance of reminscing the past hall life??
Or is it the combination "Cat and Susan" means pigging out time?!

Last Saturday was crazy..
I only realised how much we had when I read Cat's blog..

These were our menus...

Dinner Menu:
- Garlic Toast with Mozeralla (for both)
- Mushroom Madness Pizza (for Cat)
- Three Amigos Baked Rice (for me)

Dessert Menu:
- Potato Wedges (for both)
- Eastside Brownie Stack (for Cat)
- Strawberry Milkshake (for me)

Dining with Cat alone, I seemed to be missing out some thing..
Last time when Ailin was around..
I share with Cat the vegetarian stuff, and I share with Ailin the non-veggie stuff..
So I end up eating more varieties! And also eating more..
She left..

After a sem or two, we had a replacement!
Our dearest maid - Joo!!
Missed the days we pigged out...
Especially that time at Newton after watching SCI's production...

When are you coming back?!


LITTLE WALK BACK HOME..

Took 136 with Cat..
Dropped at AMK to change bus 165..
On the way back, I really felt that I was too full to go home just like that..
I alighted 2 bus stops earlier, and chose to walk back instead..

Guess what? I really liked to walk..
Don't ask me why.. It feels good..
Especially when I was too full to sit or do any other things..

Just that I still feel unsafe to walk around in Hougang neighbourhood at night..
I was asked by these two guys in mandarin, "Hello, Miss! Can be friends?!"
I just simply walked straight and totally ignored them..
At the back of my mind, I was just praying that they wouldn't be persistent.
And I was glad that the nuisance ended there and then.

Probably I had too much of food..
I had a nightmare that night..
In summary, there was a snake or was it a python?!

Anyway, a snake on the loose in the jungle..
It was coming right in my way..
Someone came and grab it by the tail..
Unfortunately the head just rush right into me and bite me..
I screamed and I woke up..

It's scary okies!
Don't understand why Cat and Lonewolf had the same reactions..
They thought it was funny! HMPF!

Cat and I went on a movie marathon that day!
We were both late for our 1.30pm meeting time..
Guess what? We got onto the same train on NEL!!
So we reached at the same timing!!
I guessed we already used to each other's timing and habit of being late..
Even late, we won't be too far off from each other's timing..


MOVIE MARATHON

MOVIE ONE : Poseidon
Titanic lookalike, minus the romance, plus more actions..
That was how Cat described.
We were quite shocked that the Poseidon started sinking in the very early part of the show..
As compared to Titanic..
That was probably why this show was less draggy..
It's a good show to catch!

MOVIE TWO : Mi:3
Glad that I had catched this show..
Thanks Cat for accompanying me to watch it..
She already watched it last week!
I liked how the show went..
Just that I had to always remind my dear Cat to shut her mouth...
And keep on "tiaking" her to stop her from revealling what's next..


INTERMISSION
Dinner at Citilink Sakae was not good. Disappointing.
There wasn't Cat's fave Kakiage, Potato Croquette..
The Soft Shell Crab Handroll was PATHETIC!
There wasn't Yam Chawanmushi..
There wasn't alot of things from the norm!!
Upset.
We didn't have too full a dinner..
We headed back to Plaza Singapura's Swensens for banana crumble instead..

After the first movie, it was weird that someone actually called me to find his IC!
I remembered it so clearly that it wasn't with me!
If it was in the passport, I could have remember to return the passport to you already!
Well.. There's no harm to double check..
But before I could go home and double check...
Before the 3rd movie started, he called to say...
The IC was found swimming in the washing machine in his pants..
Well well.. Sometimes, you have to be less absent-minded..


MOVIE MARATHON CONTINUES...

MOVIE THREE : When a stranger calls
It wasn't a scary type of horror...
It was just a total suspense thingy..
It was just a fear...

Imagine..
If you had been watched..
If you had been stalked..
If someone you didn't know had been giving you prank calls..
You had no idea who he is..
But you definitely know that he's up to no good..
"lai2 zhe3 bu2 shan4"
And you are stranded in an isolated house miles away from outside..
How will you feel?

I hate such a feeling..
A feeling of being stalked and disturbed..
It's my weakness, I admit..
Tolerance for that fear is low..
It just takes a little of it..
And I will turn crazy..
I was on the verge on losing sanity that time..
It was scary..


A MINI SHOW ON MY RIGHT

However, in the cinema..
I wasn't too scared at all..
The joke happened to the couple sitting on my right.
The couple was 2 guys, shortie in checked pink top and the tall in pink top..

Starring Shortie (S) and Tall one (T)

Before the show started, the shortie was eating an apple..
S: Aiya.. I'm so full..
T: Full already then don't eat lah! Just throw loh.. Just anyhow throw in the cinema.. It's ok one.. No one will know!!
I turned my head to the right and gave Shortie a short stare...
I guess Shortie noticed it.. and he says...
S: Shh.. Don't say already.. (And continued biting)
Lights dimmed, show starting..
T: Can throw now le! Quick!

If I was on MSN, my ahmcio and faint emoticons will appear!!

During the show, in those suspense parts...
When you don't know who will jump out from where..
I looked on my left, Cat was scared, with her hand somewhere at her face..
She even mistook a human-like statue as 'someone' standing behind..

Then I looked on my right...
S: Aiyer.. So scary... (And he held the Tall one's arm..)
His actions totally dismissed my suspense, and I really wanted to laugh..

At the end of the movie,
T: Aiyah! Not scary one! Cheat my money! I want my money back!
First of all, I thought..
He probably think he would be more macho if he claimed he's not scared.
Next, I felt like turning to them and exclaimed, "I came in for free!! Haha!"


NIGHTMARE

I was super tired that night..
I thought I could sleep through the night soundly..

Who knows?!
I woke up after an hour or two..
And kept being disturbed by the sounds of marbles...

I finally got to sleep after an hour or two...
Then I woke up the next morning by a loud thud from my ceiling..
Sounded so much like the sound effect last night..

Weird that I always don't sleep well the day before I need to do my FYP..
