The Olive Ristorante & Cafe @ Labrador Park

Someone asked me a question yesterday.
"Do you know how much will it cost to dine at the restaurant in Labrador Park?"
Cos he's going to have a dinner appointment with someone there..
And of course, needed to know the budget.
Probably some birthday dinner or what, I think...

Well...
It's not my first time hearing about this place..
It was also listed as one of my research areas for good dinners...
Too bad the moderators for CC Forums are still reviving the original threads and topics.
The details about the pricing range is not available at the moment.

The biggest draw card for Olive Ristorante & Cafe has got to be it's secluded location, although this shouldn't reflect badly on the quality of the food served.The restaurant is located on a hill in Labrador Park, overlooking the harbor, and is reached via a secluded forested road off Pasir Panjang Road. At night, the open-air, candle-lit restaurant looks wonderful and welcoming.

The menu is mostly Italian and heavy on pizzas and pastas but also includes mains such as rack of lamb, pan fried rib eye and duck confit. The duck confit is quite good, being very crispy and tender. Appetizers are also appealing, particularly the seafood platter which included smoked salmon, prawns and scallops. The seafood was very good and fresh, marred only by the bad pairing of a blueberry flavored sauce.

It will definitely be an exceptional experience!

As for me..
I guess I won't be experiencing such romantic settings and dinner in near future..
Or should I say, I'm expecting any fine dinings...?
