Credit Card Scam // The Champion Sperm // Happy Wedding!!
A conversation of dinner with Dawn and friend...
Remember the credit card scam last year?
All the things said in next three paragraphs, are all hearsay...
Neither did I deny nor agree that it's all truth...
Hearsay, might just be a different story at the ears of the last person...
If any of the facts had been distorted, they were never intentional..
One of them started off being a bookie during world cup..
One can comfortably earn ard $60-70k from nothing, but just earning from others' losses...
And using others' losses to pay those winners..
World cup is approximately that amount..
Normal league is approximately $35k per season..
I wonder where did the statistics come from... it's alarming woah!
Then this guy advanced... and became an illegal loanshark..
And then... everything got bigger and out of hand..
When this guy acquainted with these 2 other NUS bright students through their expensive car models, and started the credit card scam..
Yes. Expensive cars, cos they all came from well-to-do families...
They don't need to do this, you know?!
The credit card scam works such a way that...
Someone working at a bar... not going to say what bar...
I've been there before twice last year...
Ok.. This guy will swipe the card against this card reader that they did up...
And this reader will decode all the necessarily information from the card...
These 3 guys, will then take the coding information....
Take expired credit cards....
Somehow, like... re-format the expired cards, and install the coding information they stole..
How many people at the cashier actually checked if the name on the credit card against the name on the printed out slip??
How many actually checked if the date on the card has expired? So long as the machine accepts the card, you can't be bothered, right??
The excitement just snowballs...
But we believe in karma, don't we...?
You reap what you sow...
They got themselves, each a jail sentence...
There goes the scholarship to overseas for one of the bright students...
There goes this and that...
What a pity...
Then we talked about people..
For superiors that are snobbish and particular about this and that.. Fierce and strict..
Or even using terrible tone...
They earned it that way.
They worked to this level, to be deserved to act whichever way they want...
A young, rich guy driving an expensive sports car....
Yeap, you might call him ah-sia-kia (rich man's kid)...
This was what his parents earned..
And they have all the rights they want to provide their kid with such luxuries they earned..
The funny thing is this.. quoting all these from this friend...
The kid earned his rights too!
By choosing the right parents....
And do you think it's so easy?!
He/She...
During intercourse, he had to fight with so many other sperms...
And swim to the egg, and get fertilised...
HE... just need to be a champion that once...
And that's it!
Quite true isn't it...
But.. Imagine this conversation in the midst of our very delicious dinner....
Erh....
Oh.. I just had to add on about this....
Oh.. Cos I really heard of such cases before...Imagine those that have shotgun, despite using that rubber?
The champion, is champion of the champions!!
Cos it even braves through that layer of rubber!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing right?
Hence, I just had to add this....
Condom - 99% safe... And it's like 1% chance to get jackpot...
Woah.. woah.. WOAHHHHHH.... CHAMPION SPERM!!!!! *lol*
Any of you is a champion sperm?! *lol*
But when such things happen, and both that are happy to be with each other...
You two... I give you my blessings... and to the little one too...
Glad that you didn't make the decision of....
ANYWAY....
Wishing you two a blissful marriage, and the soon-to-be baby
girl/boy...
You know who you are...
Names will never be mentioned.
Last week..
I heard of another wedding news...
My one and only roomie ROM with Justin this week!!!
Wooohoooo!!!!
Exciting to hear news of friends getting married...
But.. please get me prepared, if I need to give red packets.. hehe..
To Eva and Justin...
May both of you live a blessed marriage, happily ever after...
And.. let me know when's house warming!!!
Oh.. and yes.. don't link the above two stories together...
Hehe.. they are entirely two different life/love stories...
On the side note...
There's this guy whom I see on the TV lately...
Not to mention names, cos we were just acquaintance? ok.. or I was just simply condemned..
Then, it was probably the time when I first met him...
And I probably accidentally blurted out the word fat... and got me condemned?
Oh well..
Last year, the Chinese drama serials that I happened to watch at 3am some time..
Or was it Chinese short sit-coms? The title was something related to father..
And he acted as the son of the father.. That time he was much thinner...
Then, it was that short clip in zhong1 hua1 Ink xiong2...
Where he acted as someone who got fired or something.. A chicken head facing him?!
Or was he acting a dian4 xiao3 er4...
Oh well.. Memory's failing... He was slightly bigger size that time..
Now, on that channel 5 short clip..
He looks slimmer than before..
And never fail to bring that comical factor in the clips he acted..
Yeap. No names mentioned, only this guy and his friends know it.
Back to today's dinner...
Today's dinner was at Menotti...
The minus thing was the atmosphere..
Lotsa effort put into the interior design of this place...
But... but.. it was just too noisy today...
Next thing was that Indian waiter who served us?!
We never did catch what he was talking... let's blame on the accent...
And neither did he catch what we were talking... let's blame on the noise level..
Haha.. never our fault huh? *laughs*
When Dawn was asking for the house recommendations, showing him the dessert page..
The waiter happily, forcefully turned that page, and rattled on, introducing wines instead...
Oh well.. Funny waiter..
It was my first time there...
Passed by this place umpteen times..
And for UOB Cardholders...
If you work near this area, listen carefully...
There's 1-for-1 lunch something and 1-for-1 dessert in the afternoon..
The food was yummy yummy...
Caesar's salad without bacon bits wasn't at all disappointing, cos it's delicious...
Spinach and crab soup... Tastes nothing less than fantastic..
With the starters, we were all looking forward to our main dish...
Mine's the first one on the Dinner Set list... Some fettucine with scallops and mushrooms..
Nice nice..
Then it was the desserts.. heavenly...
I had the Cassatta, and Dawn had the... I forgot the name..
But it's very chocolatey... $6.90 on the right hand side column of the menu...
If you want to try it, ask the waiter for the most sinfully, chocolatey dessert...
That's the one..
The gelato they had was good too..
Just that the hazelnut tasted like ferrero rocher...
Approximately $35.00 per set dinner. $40 for additional red wine.
I'm SOOO FULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!! BURPZ!!
