Job List

The new Job List is out on Friday..

The three youngest project engineers have 30 over near to 40 projects to handle.
Mostly new projects..
Me, Siqi, and Li Li.

Seniors say that we are the hottest babes now!
Siqi was thinking, we are SHE..
Hmm.. We should explore that idea..
I want to be Hebe!! haha..
Cos she's cute and pretty!!

My seniors even asked boss..
'You sure these young girls can take it?'
"They can one lah.."


New projects still ok lei..
Half of mine is like half hanging in-the-air die-but-not-dying projects..
And those 13 of my baby projects... I seen them grow till now..
They are now under boss..
Yet, the other depts will still chase for me for answers/decisions instead of him..
So if my boss didn't take away those from me.. my counts of projects.. 35+13.. 48..!

My boss calls me the superwoman now.
What a big change from the blur me months ago..
When he never dare to hand me any project..
Till now.. Flooding my job list with projects and telling others..
"Susan can one.. She's superwoman wah.."
What can I say?! But give a wu2 nai4 smile..


Li Li had a very funny reaction..
She hadn't checked the email regarding the job list..
I printed out a few.. So I walked over and handed her the list..
Her reactions "Huh! What's that??!!" (in chinese)
And it was shocking to her, cos boss only just allocated those jobs to her..
From a 15 projects, jump up to 38 projects!!
She looks dumbstruck..
And told me.. "I just told boss that I was quite xian2 (free)..."
Then I looked at her and laughed..
And told her, never to tell boss that you are very free..
That's what happened to you..
Tonnes of projects drop from the sky..


Actually Siqi is the most innocent one..
Cos all the new projects, my boss just threw to Lily, my senior..
And asked her to put all under Li Li..
Lily saw the quantity.. and shockingly asked boss.. "48 projects lei, boss?"
Boss was like.. huh? 48??
After thinking for the next 5 secs..
Ok lah.. load some under Siqi lor..
So.. haha. There we have...
The 3 youngest and least senior of the department..
Having super loading now..


To Siqi and Li Li..
They had to start to warm up their gears..
As for me.. I had already been having these number of job list 2 weeks ago..
So my engine is done with warming up.. Hohoho..


I somewhat felt like my boss putting the three of us to test..
See which one will die first. haha..



Friday lunch was on my boss..
He brought me and Clarice out at around Alexandra/Tiong Bahru area for lunch..
Super full man..
It was a lunch he promised me over the phone when he was still in states! =P
I so wanted to ask him about the Vancouver, Washington trip..
But nevermind lah.. using the sour-grapes thinking..
I don't want to go during winter.. so cold also.. I can't imagine how frozen I can be..


And looking at the situation now..
My department is short-handed..
My boss is looking for people to hire.
Maybe that's why I might not be able to go liaoz..

So if anyone is interested to be a Tooling Project Engineer in the plastics industry..
