Work work work...

I really sorry to all who tried to get me out for the past few weeks..
I'm really sorry..
Just too busy..
I really mean it with my msn nick..

I feel so bad turning down offers just to meet-up and chill..
I feel so damn bad..
Kept saying I'm busy.. Totally don't sound sincere at all..
But I'm really burned out from work..
Even Janice, I only met her this week.. after 2 weeks?
It's long, considered we meet up weekly or more than once per week...
I'm sorry. Not gonna respond.
Will only respond, after I catch up with sleep..
And hopefully, I won't bring laptop home to work at night anymore..


Work...

5 different programmes has just befallen on my shoulders..
condor, phoenix, cabrillo, yellowtail, bear.

I'm the red indian.
Hunt for the birds, condor and phoenix.. my very own..
Then fish for the yellowtail.. my ex-colleague left this to me..
I'm tied down by this for the past weeks
And now hunt for the bear.. a major event that our whole dept will be involved.
I wonder what's a cabrillo.. something the colleague that left us, left me too..

Emails flooding like nobody's business..
Imagine it's all different contact engineers for all different project..
Luckily I have not totally activated in bear as of now..

condor - 4 projects*
phoenix - 9 projects
yellowtail - around 10 projects?
cabrillo - 5 projects
bear - i've yet found the time to print out the joblist to see how many is under me..

*number of projects = number of moulds i'm looking after

These numbers just feel like the number of academic units in NTU..
It feels like my year 2 sem 2 or so.. 20-over-over AUs... *pukes*


Actually the plans was to reallocate yellowtail away..
But my client die die want me take..
Say what...
Why don't let me take the lead in the project?
Why shield her from it... Let her lead and learn..

I'm kinda half glad, half shag by this project lei..
But I'm glad I'm back into the picture, and taking charge..
With great help from my dearest colleague, Irene..
So sweet and nice of her to guide me..

After this time round, I can say only left with 2 seniors, I haven't been guided by..
So kinda know everyone's working style bah..

5 different program.. 5 different clients..
All will just flare at you once job is not going smoothly..
Well.. That's definitely it..
And I agree that they have all the rights to flare..
Not smooth, definitely buay-song one mah.. hehe..


Lastly..
My San Diego trip this December is confirmed!!
But will be going with my boss..
So I have to be prepared to be doing walk-a-thon wherever he goes..
Cos he will just walk like gust of wind...
And also be prepared to be fed with good food and great variety..
I hope I will not be beyond recognition after the short trip..

My Vancouver trip hasn't been confirmed I felt..
I have this feeling that my San Diego trip might change my boss' decision to let me go Vancouver..
Oh well.. I have to double up lately...
Although I'm already pushing towards my current work capacity...
Double up, and do well in my projects..
And hopefully I will go early next year..
Else I don't know have to wait till... late next year??
Or no chance? *cries*

I hope this one project to china lately will go smoothly..
It's so tiring le..
Why so many unsolved things at the very last minute???
I don't want to be asked to go China to solve things there lei..................
I can't communicate technical terms in Mandarin!!
