Cupid Team, Opera Estate and my maid Han

This post is dedicated to My dearest maid Han...

First of all...
Thank you for popping by after your Jap lesson on 13 Feb..
Though I know you are just deficient of MY LOVE.. hehehe...
And I pretty like how you address us in the email..
"Dear Cupid Team.."
Nice.

Next..
My maid and her Old Chang Kee chicken wings..
I didn't know Old Chang Kee sells chicken wings!!!
Ok...
And she thought she bought 4.. and she claimed that the auntie short changed her 1.
But me and G just think that she ate them all...
You should see how greedy she looked when she first show us the chicken wing..
What a glutton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well..
Thankfully that night, no ants gather in his room for her chicken wing 'droppings'...
Eewwwww....

The event of the night...
Our delivery to this Opera Estate...
The list read Topaz Street.. which is at the end of Moonstone Lane, near Serangoon Broadway.
And it led us to some super ulu dark place...

Aint we lucky or what..?
Amy Lum used to be from Opera Estate Primary School or something..
Thank God we have my maid with us...
And she recalled her good friend's old school should be in Bedok.. Not here...
Flipping through the street directory..
And she narrowed our problem to Toscas Street, instead of Topaz...
And wala! After holland-ing all the way to the Bedok...
We finally found the place...
And it's quite a funny sight to see the poor maid, holding the bouquet standing outside the gate..
Erm.. the timing was probably the first hour of Valentine's Day.... lol...

Then.. It was a scary thingy to find our way out...
Me.. being quite a shutdown mode.. I'm so tired and not wanting to see map le..
And my maid holding on the map... the driver G...
I don't know what they did lah..
They just bring me around and holland in the Opera Estate..
Go straight.. No.. It's a dead-end..
Turn left... and... No.. It looks like we are further holland-ing...
Go back there.. and... after a long road...
Just as we thought we already gotten out of the eerie Opera Estate...
We passed the "Opera Estate Primary School" road sign.
We were like.. Don't tell us we are back to Opera Estate again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But within the next few minutes, we gotten ourselves out into the main road... FINALLY...
Boy.. All of us are so super tired by then...
But we really have loads of fun and laughter...

Too bad disciple Wenting wasn't around..
Else it will sure be funny to see how hers and G's 8-character clash...
And surely it's more hilarious to see that to happen..
Hmm.. Think it's been ages since I last saw the SUPER CLASH between the two..
The most memorable incident was still the Blackmail game at Settlers' cafe..

It was an eventual night...
Before the Opera Estate event...
We drop by someone's place, and displayed my flower arrangement skill..
I can't believe that I actually count wrongly a bouquet of roses.... I mean the quantity..
This proves something..
When I'm sick... I need to fully recover before I can work...
Super not functioning at all for the whole last week...
So sorry about that bouquet.. and also another bouquet that I counted wrongly..
Really don't know what's wrong with me..
Disappointing...

And the last disappointing thing..
When we reached home from the trip...

I went to check on my laptop..
Then to realised, it was my fault that I didn't update the list..
The updated list, highlighted the words in red "Toscas Street"...
While the old list says "Topaz Street"...
Obviously our salesman actually did realised his typo or something...
And even highlighted to me..
And WHAT's really wrong with me...? Not able to notice the difference..
Disappointing....

Oh well...
I hope my dear maid did had her fair share of fun with us that night..
Cos she had so-called.. broke her boring routine...
I know how it felt.. every week doing the same thing again and again..
So routinal till you felt that you are just going through the motion each week...
Welcome to join us anytime, if you wana break your routine.. or if you miss my love.. hehe..

Happy Valentine's Day to my dearest maid, and also to my disciple Wenting..

Thanks to my maid for the Opera Estate..
And also to my disciple, for the Bukit Timah Road...
And also our donkey queen, Farrah for liaising with us for your canvassing efforts....
