me: i told gerard abt tat day at mphosis..
me: u were wearing mphosis belt, carrying their bag, and buying their top
me: guess what he said straight away...?

me: he said... "wah.. Jxxxxx, u like to emphasize alot on ur dressing huh?"
me: i laughed like hell lor.. cos i havent even told him abt me saying the link to the word "emphasize"

her: *bangs head on wall*

me: dun bang on head lah..

her: idiot
her: no wonder both of u together sia

*smiles*

her: when driving, the inner lane is referred to as the left lane huh?
me: i wud think so..
me: wait.. i'm asking a second opinion

her: wah lau.. u got ur license liao leh
me: ang mo bor hor lah

me: u are talking abt basic right?
her: yah
me: i took that in 2001 lei.... i cannot rem lor...

me: the driving question.. what they referring huh?
her: when driving, u should keep to the a) outermost lane, b) inner lane, c) i forgot
her: so i dunno which is inner lane and outer lane mah
me: inner lane lor


(nottie me started to test her out...)

me: u know what the outermost lane is for?
her: speeding

me: lol
her: haha

me: overtaking lah
her: orh


(I bet at this moment, she can't see the difference between speeding and overtaking.. So I made this comment about speeding...)

me: speeding.. then no one will wana take tat lane..
me: cos police will be forever waiting there to catch speeding

her: hahah
me: u make me laff..


(Wah.. for a moment, my sarcastic way of saying speeding is wrong got into her head.. But I was so wrong when she tried to argue back..)

her: but expressway outermost lane is the fastest lane mah
her: why for overtaking leh?


(Dumbstruck for a moment..
I was wondering how to explain to her that speeding is WRONG...)

me: overtaking lah..
me: slow moving vehicles should also stay the left most lane..
me: like big trucks and heavy vehicles.. slow mah
me: then the right most is for overtaking..
me: ppl are travelling faster than speed limit normally take the rightmost lane mah..


(I felt like I was going in circles... but I continued..)

me: but u think if they are correct, then why when there's speed camera, they slow down lei?
me: sometimes wat u see on expressway n roads is not equal to the answers in basic theory...
me: cos we humans are borned to break rules... hehe


Well... I really hoped the idea of "SPEEDING IS AN OFFENCE" got into her head.. And "SPEEDING IS NOT OVERTAKING"

Btw, if you-aka-my-gf is reading this..

Overtaking is not equal to speeding..
You just need to accelerate slightly faster than the vehicle that you are overtaking, to overtake..


OK.. The messaging went on to make me say something very wrong...

her: cannot rem what my bf did
her: i rem i told him why he do tat... coz the book say cannot like tat

book say u cannot , but book never say licensed driver cannot
