Less than a week..
Emotions brewing up..
Now I have this word in my emotions department.
Worried.
Whole family are like queueing up to fall sick..
Now it's my most beloved mum.
And dear is suddenly down with fever too.
What's going on?!

My maid lost her luggage...
And my stupid msn hang and we stop communicating..
The only thing I knew was 'My luggage is spoilt'..
'Our stuff got burglared yesterday'...
A conversation we had on Thursday.
Hope things had improved over there for her..


Maybe cos of mixed emotions..
I had been behaving super crazy for the last few days at work..
Chatting, and laughing..
My department is like a family...
Everyone keeps a lookout for each other..
Especially when you know some childish people from other departments making trouble..
Seniors in the department can use their own ways or connections, to dig the most accurate news.

The whole week's lunch topic was all about Primary 1 registration.
My department has 4 people going for it.
It's like an everyday thing..
Like over the weekend, Irene went to Beacon Secondary Open House...
And she was totally impressed by the 'futuristic school'..
News feed from Lily...
"Wah!! Greenridge no hope already.. or something like that.."
The four seniors in my department are our company's legend 7 years back...
It started with Joanne, first to get pregnant and gave birth at year end..
After she comes back from maternity leave..
Another goes into labour, and when she's back, the next goes into labour..
And it goes on.. So there was hardly any point of time, 2 were on maternity leave..
Pretty interesting..
Our legendary ladies... Joanne, Irene, Lily and Chailing..

Anyway, I did learned alot from the Primary 1 registration..
Luckily our boss' wife is a primary school teacher..
He was puzzled about the hype over the P1 registration thingy among our department..
Hence the previous weekend, he went to enquire the procedures and the all-abouts with his wife.
And it turned out to be very valuable advice and information..

So funny to see Lily stressed out over P1 registration..
But what Joanne said yesterday was correct..
Lily's daughter is sooo smart.. Finished the abacus book 4 already..
And before her exams... she told her mum..
'Mummy, I don't want to score full marks'
And indeed, she scored 98 out of 100...
2 marks for being careless.. Plus became minus..
And she says.. 'Didn't see properly lor...'

Hmm.. I see my past in this little girl, minus the 'everything-also-talk-back' part...
I don't remember I could challenged adults last time..
I always took it as.. Yes.. Ok... Do what adults like you to do..
And perhaps, got used to it.. and grew up in such a way that.. Do what society like you to do...
Oh well..
But I do rebel over many things.. especially when freedom is the topic...


My classic phrase of this week..
'One mountain got one mountain higher'
Lily asks...'Aiya.. So you thought your mountain quite high already lah?!"
My reply... "No lah.. I'm in Singapore mah.. Hill already very high already.."
"Just that I forgot that over in US is mountains.. greater heights..."

Calling out to Irene was funny too..
I called out in such a way like she's super far away, got echo in the midst of mountains..
Lily must be disturbed, cos her cubicle is right between mine and Irene's.
She asked.. 'Gan4 ma2 lah... jiao4 dao4 hen3 xiang4 Irene zai4 hen2 yuan3 de4 di4 fang1 zhe4 yang4'
I cheekily replied... "Cos between me and her, it's one very high mountain wor..."
Mount Lily.
Haha.


Watched the Dark Knight on Thursday.
Fantastic. Great.
I love the show for the storyline, and the depth..
It's a show about Joker.. more than the Batman..
But I hate the show for it challenged human's faith and hope.
It really instill fear, if you are that indulged in the show..
The part where Joker puts the razor in the mouth of any victim and talked about his own scars..
Disgusting and scary.. It's an upsetting scene..



I had my very virgin facial on Wednesday.
I freaked the aesthetician out... Totally.
I thought, since I freaked her so much..
I shan't go further to what I told Jan some time ago..
If I really sing that Sean Kingston's song to Ms Oh..
I think it was another shocked stare by her..
She claimed that I'm on the billboard..
For able to shock her so many times on the first visit..
Then I said.. I need to leave an impression everywhere.
Haha..

The next day, Jan asked me how I felt after the first virgin facial..
Erh.. Actual fact.. I don't know what I should feel..?
At least I'm doing something to prevent it from growing old prematurely?
But one of our customer told me that I looked "lian3 qing1 chun2 bai2"

I don't understand.
Expressing what's within you should make you feel better.
But in the exact opposite..
It made me feel weak and breaking down..
Last Sunday at BK..
I merely said I was pretty worried and all..
Yah.. Silly me just can't stop being probed and having tears to well up..
I'm just a little girl, never seen the world.
I'm a silly girl.. who can't spout out the words 'Darling, I miss you'..
Cos it just crumbles me..
I keep everything to myself, cos I don't wish anyone to worry for me.
Letting fear out, will just scare courage away...




For the first time..
I'm on the plane alone.
I'm on a business trip.
I'm going to live alone in a foreign place for quite some time.
I'm travelling out of Asia.
I'm taking more than a 4 hours flight.
I'm gonna do a transit.
I'm bringing a luggage bag.

My boss complained that the air tix now is like over $4k..
Well.. That means.. definitely no one will travel to find me on purpose.
Unless dumb or filthy rich.

Time is running out..
I haven't gone to the money changer.. blah blah blah..
What else I need?
