Travel Log - Confused Timezone & My Nephew Bin Bin

Waking up early and bading all my friends back in SG.. "Good night and sweet dreams"
Working till mid- to late-afternoon, energetically greeting them... "GOOD MORNING!!!"

I seriously have a confused timezone..
Many a times.. I woke up wondering if today is a Monday or Tuesday..
Monday over here, but Tuesday back in SG.
Confused ToTaLLy!


Mondays here, are the days I stay back most of the time.
I would call back office and call back home too.
I love calling back home at this point of time..
Cos my mum and nephew are around..

Yesterday, when my mum was on the phone with me..
Little Bin Bin kinda know that it was me..
So he was 'hovering' around my mum, giving a cheeky smile..
Like he wanted to talk over the phone..
Erh.. Talk with inverted commas...

So there it goes.. Handing the phone to him..
This is the very first word he called me before I even speak a word..

"CARRRRRRRRRRRRR-TOOooooOoOoOooooOoN!"

Ok.. I'm VERY SURE that he knew it was me..
That's the only thing he called me over the phone, even back in Singapore.
And have double checked with my bro1, that he only did that to me!
Well.. Of course, it would be much better if he called me Gu Gu..
But, I guess this makes him special..

Call me Cartoon har!
Don't know who's the cartoon one here..

Know how to say cartoon, duno how to call ma ma.. kor kor.. jie jie.. blah blah...
In many friends' opinion..
Cartoon is a more difficult word than the above mentioned.

He prefer to have fun making funny noises, and speaking baby language..
Oh well.. There's no rush bah..
You only get to be baby that once..
Baby language, use it while you still can.. haha..


This nephew of mine, may not be a language genius.. or maybe he just refused to speak..
But he loves to analyse things, and see how things work..
Like a borned engineer or something...
Last updates was that the toy car my dad bought for him..
It's broken into many pieces...
First, he explored the wheels... and during one drop session, the wheel 'punctured'.
Then he went ahead to explore the doors..
Cos this car, when the power is on, it moves around noisily, with lights and doors opening/closing.
So he explored the opening and closed car..
I'm sure, if I ever play with the steering wheel, he would want to do so too..

Another incident of him, said by bro1..
Everytime when he's at the back seat of the car...
He will leap forward and looked at how his dad drives..
One day, he wanted to get up on the driver seat..
So they let him be...
And he really did as though he knew how to drive...
Steering the steering wheel.. and trying to adjust the gear from time to time..
He probably can learn manual car driving real soon. haha.


Ok.. That's about my nephew..
Missed him though.
So tempted to buy toys for him here and there in Toys'R'Us...
There's a Baby'R'Us here too..
Gotta search where it is.. and find my way there after my colleague leave tomorrow.

Tomorrow. Day 1 of staying in states alone.
I wonder how will it be.
